A Subway Print.

Kind of.
And no--not a print of this:

taken from  here

And while I wanted it to look like this:

It just didn't turn out that way--Miss Shabby Nest has a Silhouette machine. And I do not.

Mine turned out like this:

Step 1: Make out a list of places that hold a special place in your heart--in my case, I chose to do places I've lived and memorable vacations
Step 2: Paint your Canvas black--I bought mine at Hobby Lobby--2 for 7.99 with an additional 30% off. I also bought the black acrylic paint at Hobby Lobby for .97.
Step 3:Start stickin' on your letters. I chose foam 3-D-ish- letters, they worked nice because I could easily  peel them off if it didn't look right. I used a level as my measuring stick to ensure I laid them down straight and even. Although, it helps of your letters are straight and even too--mine were not. Grr. So make sure when you purchase letters they are just typical block letters and don't have funky curves.

(See how the "n" and "H" have a shorter "tail" on one side. I've lost sleep over this.)

Step 5: Take a picture of your pet maxin' and relaxin'
Next project--making dog Collars. Maybe Hula will offer her assistance with this one.
