Spray paint is such a fast fix to update old items around the house and create a new look--at a whopping 2.97 per can (Walmart price). My most recent spray paint escapade includes picture frames. I had quite the collection (don't ask why) of oddly colored picture frames--neon pink and green to name a couple--and needless to say, those colors no longer match my decor. The frames, however, are still in excellent condition (all purchased on clearance at one time or another at TJ Maxx, I know this because the price tags are still stuck perfectly to the back.)

Anyway, you can obviously use any color of spray you'd like--in an effort to keep my bedroom going with the "fresh and clean" look, even when the ol bed isn't made, I chose WHITE. Careful when spraying--it can sometimes be tricky dependent on the surface, it's always best to use a "primer" spray first and then add color. I didn't do it this time and regretted it--thus why I went to through 2 cans of Spray.
I'm sure most spray painters out there know--keep the spraying to the outdoors. I tried to trick the system by spray painting in the kitchen, both Hula and I had to leave and take a drive around the town while the apt. aired out.
Anyway, here's a small glimpse at the finished product. I love the white against the blue walls.

I almost forgot-PICNIK-ING! It's the greatest thing ever. Pretty much Photoshop for dummies. Go to www.picnik.com...totally free, unless you want to upgrade from the free version--which is inexpensive.
But it essentially does the editing for you. Check it.
